AWAITING KIBAKI'S PRESS CONFERENCE ON ACTIVISTS' ASSASSINATION

So I am beginning a countdown on how long it is going to take President Kibaki to get in front of cameras to explain to the world why two human rights activists have been murdered just days after his "kasuku" accused them of supporting Mungiki.

Much to his credit, Prime Minister Raila Odinga has issued a statement condemning the murders and distancing himself from the previous declaration by the GoK spokesperson. The question is why did it take the loss of two lives for Raila to tell Kenyans that ODM was not in accord with the criminalization of the Oscar Foundation? Read Raila's complete statement here

Now the question some are going to ask themselves is, can the government be that blatant? Can the government be as callow as to kill these two men right after telling the world that they literally had them on their sights? You will have to refer to the recent press conference in which the media was dared by the first lady... in the full glare of the media...to appreciate how those in power believe that they have us on chokehold.

Now what for the grand illusion of a coalition? How can Raila continue to be part of a government which he believes is killing its own citizens? Shouldn't the conscientious thing be for him to resign instead of waiting for something tragic to happen and then saying retrospectively, "no, we were not part of that?"

No press conference from Kibaki yet....still waiting...

cicero, i have noticed that you are becoming increasingly critical of the government. I hope you are not just posturing but genuinely do so out of concern for Kenyans.

I don't understand your beef with Cicero being critical of the government.. and what exactly is your stand regarding the way the government is running the country??

state your case before questioning cicero's stand which he is making very clear he is the voice most ordinary kenyans who know as facts that the coalition has failed kenyans!! a coalition that kenyans never asked for a coalition that is being over paid in salaries for rubbish work or no work done at all instead busy campaigning for 2012

IF WE HAVE MORE CICERO'S i BELIEVE KENYA WILL CHANGE AND WE THE PEOPLE WILL TAKE BACK THE CONTROL OF OUR DEAR KENYA..OR ELSE KENYA IS DOOMED- LOOK WHO IS AT THE STEERING WHEEL?? KIBAKI/RAILA?? GOD HELP KENYA.

KENYANS MUST WAKE UP TO REALITY.
